Top Mascara Brands from 2010

As 2010 draws to a close, we asked our 250,000 facebook mascara fans to tell us their favourite brand of Mascara from this year.

Well done to Max Factor for their False Lash Effect mascara; a huge 25% of the votes were received for this Max Factor mascara so it storms in to first place.

Closely followed by Maybelline with 20% of the votes. There were many mascaras from this brand such as Collosal, Volume Express and Stiletto.

10% of our fans love Rimmel sexy curves mascara and so it takes 3rd place in our line up.

A surprising mention goes to Miss Sporty with 6% of the votes, we award it 4th place. We need to find out more about this mascara and why you love it so much!

Avon Supershock mascara received 4% of the votes. It's great to see an online/catalogue brand make in to our top 5!

Other mentions:

No7, Collection 2000, Dior, L'Oreal, Boots Natural Collection and Lancome as each received a number of votes and love from our fans.

All Hail Mascara, we ♥ you! Due to the phenomenal success of our facebook page we decided to continue to share the love and discussion about the important topic of Mascara and our ♥ for it.

Every day ladies and gents pay hommage to the wonder that is mascara with comments such as:

"What girl could live without it?"

"o.m.g mascara is my life! I couldnt live a day without :)If it wasnt for mascara I would be dead now I love it so much ♥"

" I would look terrible without mascara :)"

"First thing I do in the morning put on my mascara ;)"

Are we all mad to ♥ mascara so much, after all it is a little tube of sticky dark pigment which makes our lashes look thicker, longer and curlier? Why do we rely so heavily upon this ordinary little essential? It makes us feel good and that's what's important.

The eyes are the windows to our souls, and I guess having nice curtains makes a good impression on the rest of the world.
